Our Philosophy

Where movement, recovery, and intention come together. We’re not just a fitness studio—we’re a community dedicated to strength, wellness, and the transformative power of showing up for yourself every single day.

At Ritual, we blend the dynamic, high-intensity, low-impact Lagree method with cutting-edge recovery services designed to restore, rejuvenate, and optimize your body and mind. From our intense Megaformer workouts to the soothing benefits of infrared sauna, cold plunge, and red light therapy, every experience is crafted to reset your body and elevate your well-being.

Ritual was born from the belief that true wellness isn’t just about breaking a sweat—it’s about creating a sustainable, balanced lifestyle. Our mission is to provide a space where movement, recovery, and self-care intersect, and where strength is built with purpose, intention, and dedication.

Here, wellness is more than just a routine, it’s a lifestyle, a ritual, and a commitment to becoming the best version of yourself.

Catherine Bartell

Six years ago, I began a journey of transformation rooted in health, wellness, and self-discovery. Born and raised in Chicago, I moved to New Jersey 13 years ago with my family—mom to three boys and one very handsome Golden Retriever. I am a certified personal trainer with additional certifications in Barre, Cycle, Mini-Trampoline, and Lagree. My classes are empowering, upbeat, and designed to challenge you in all the right ways. After taking a class with me, you’ll walk away feeling stronger, more balanced, and proud of what your body can do. I bring energy, motivation, and a whole lot of burn to every session—and I’m here to support your journey every step of the way. “The words you speak to yourself are the house you live in—so make it amazing”

With a background in surgical assisting and medical device sales, I have a deep understanding to health & wellness which I hope to bring to every class! I’m all about starting the day strong with a good coffee & an even better workout. I’m a dog lover, devoted runner & I love engaging with people on the daily. My goal in Lagree is to blend controlled intensity with a motivating vibe to help my clients build strength, improve endurance & push past their limits- both physically & mentally.

I’m Kim! My passion for fitness and wellness led me to earn my Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from MSU, with a concentration in Sports Conditioning and a minor in Sports Nutrition. With a strong foundation in movement and performance, my goal is to guide clients through intentional, results-driven classes designed to build strength, confidence, and challenge you! See you in the studio!

Hi, I’m Amanda (or Mandy)! I discovered my passion for movement in high school when I realized my favorite way to clear my mind was through moving my body. I began teaching in college as a spin instructor, and now I’m excited to bring that energy (and fun playlists) into the Lagree space—guiding you toward strength, resilience, and confidence in every class! Outside the studio, I’m pursuing my MSW, which fuels my passion for the mind–body connection and supporting overall well-being. Can’t wait to see you on the Mega!

Hi I'm Mickey, like the mouse, yes. I was never the most athletically inclined, as a kid I used to take time in soccer to talk to my fellow defense line instead of playing the game. I love to move and groove and always saw myself more as a performer. I spent my youth dancing and my middle and high school years competitively cheerleading and then going on to coach USAG competitive teams across the country. I believe moving your body and building strength is not only important for longevity purposes but for your mental, emotional, and spiritual well being. Find your balance and do what you love. Lagree has given me the ability to slow down, get out of my head and into my body. "Choose your hard or your hard will choose you". I can't wait to see you in class <3

Hi, I’m Carolyn (Cair)!  I’m a trauma informed breathwork facilitator and passionate about helping people reconnect with their bodies through breath, nervous system regulation and movement. I discovered breathwork after years of struggling with severe anxiety and emotional burnout after having my third daughter. What began as my own healing journey became a passion for helping others build deeper self awareness, resilience, and connection with themselves.

My classes are designed around gentle stretching and movement, grounding nervous system practices, and progressive breathwork. This intentionally supports your recovery, strengthens your workouts, and helps you feel more connected with your body. My favorite quote embodies how I hope you leave my classes: "people will forget what you said, but people will never forget how you made them feel." I can't wait to breathe with you!
